The Top 10 CIA Conspiracy Theories

After September 11, 2001, plenty was done in the name of 9/11. They went from spying on terrorists, criminals and gangs to spying on absolutely everyone!
They can track all you do and use it against you to seek prosecution. They can turn your phone on, take over the camera, and if it happens to be in your pocket, they can hear the ambient noise to listen in on conversations.
The definition of a police state – is where the government can track everything you do. This sounds like a page right out of Orwell’s book: 1984.
VICE news acquired documents through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), showing how the CIA spied on and hacked into the senate’s computers.
That’s the same institute that’s supposed to be supervising them. So, in turn, this is a highly illegal activity, and the high-ranking official(s) accountable should be prosecuted.
Over the decades, the CIA has concocted some pretty shocking conspiracies.
The Top 10 CIA Conspiracy Theories:
Operation Paperclip
Operation paperclip was a competition against the Soviets to acquire as many German Nazi scientists as possible.
To be given jobs, help the US become leaders in the space race and help invent many weaponry technologies.
Many of these ex-Nazi scientists were assigned to help develop parts for spacecraft to be shot into the sky and create features for the first suits used in space, engineering, and many other things.
But unfortunately, these Nazis were also used as spies, overlooking the Soviets.
Werner von Braun was made head of NASA and was a central component in the Apollo moon landing.
The US government decided to award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom—then one of Ford’s advisors, David Gergen, brought up his former Nazi past. For example, Braun would hang the five slowest concentration camp workers.
MKULTRA
From the early 1950s up until the 1970s, the CIA ran experiments to find a truth serum against Soviet spies as they were led to believe that the Russians had developed a mind-control program.
The CIA was also trying to create a Manchurian candidate to kill top Soviet officials.
Test subjects would be given drugs such as; LSD, mostly without their knowledge, which is highly illegal, and some were even tortured. They also conducted social experiments.
For instance, the CIA sprayed LSD in the New York City subway system to observe what would happen.
One man, a civilian biochemist Dr. Frank Olsen, who was working for the government, jumped out of a window and succumbed to the inevitable after being given LSD without his knowledge.
MKULTRA was later exposed during an investigation led by the Rockefeller Commission.
Operation Mockingbird
Operation Mockingbird would also take place in the 1950s during the Cold War.
The CIA would pay off numerous foreign and local journalists to publish Soviet-based propaganda made up by the CIA.
Some media outlets included; Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CBS and many others. The report also shows that the CIA paid for at least one film, George Orwell’s: Animal Farm.
This media intrusion would last until 1975, up until being exposed by the Church Committee.
Although, it would appear that this form of propaganda is still going hard today between Governments and major corporate media outlets.
The Heart Attack Gun
You read that correctly. This gun, believe it or not, actually exists.
The weapon was first brought to light in front of the US senate in 1975 to explain its work.
When this gun shoots one, it will leave a tiny red dot at best, and it feels as if you were bit by a mosquito.
The bullets poison would then get into the bloodstream, thus a short time later, causing a heart attack.
However, this poison would soon dissipate, appearing like natural causes in an autopsy. This is just one of many unique weapons the CIA has created.
The CIA Drug Running in Los Angeles
In 1996, the CIA suspected being crack dealers in the ’80s. The CIA was said to have started the crack epidemic overnight by distributing crack throughout all of the major cities in the US.
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb, a CIA contract pilot Terry Reed, and Michael Rupert, an ex-LAPD narcotics officer, were among others who exposed this. Which later would be called the most talked about story in Journalism history.
They were published in 1996 in a three-part series in the San Jose Mercury News, detailing the 1980s that linked the CIA and their operatives, accusing that they used cocaine in the form of crack to be sold in LA to the African-American community – with the sole intention of raising millions of dollars to support the secret operations in Nicaragua.
Flooding crack into the Ghetto, intentionally creating addicts, keeps crime rates high, making it even harder to get out of such a place.
We all know now how powerfully addictive crack is and the actual crime rates. Some conspiracy theorists believe the CIA themselves invented the break.
CIA Drug Smuggling in Arkansas
Just south of Little Rock, on August 23, 1987, two teenage boys were murdered due to witnessing a protected by police drug drop-off.
Numerous local, state and federal investigations accused the Mena Intermountain Municipal Airport’s usage as a CIA drop point in large-scale drug trafficking, which took place in the 1980s.
As a result, it received enormous press coverage, detailing the involvement of many, for instance, former president Bill Clinton.
Not only was Bill Clinton involved, but they laundered money through Little Rock banks, one of which had ties to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Law Firm.

Ron Howard is currently making a motion picture about these events, called: Mena, focusing on the notorious CIA pilot cartel drug smuggler Adler Berriman Seal, a.k.a. Barry Seal. The movie is projected for release in January 2017.
1990 Testimony of Nayirah
The Nayirah testimony was a fictional story that the CIA and others created. Before the Congressional Human Rights Caucus on October 10, 1990, a 15-year-old girl shared only her first name, Nayirah.
Nayirah admitted that she had watched Iraqi soldiers remove babies from their incubators in a Kuwaiti hospital during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. T
hey, then would steal the incubators and leave the helpless babies to die.
President George H.W. Bush and many senators would frequently quote this testimony in their validation to back Kuwait during the Gulf War.
In 1992, it was discovered that Nayirah’s last name was al-Ṣabaḥ and that she was Saud Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the States.
It was also shown that her testimony was fabricated by the Citizens for a Free Kuwait public campaign relations, which the Kuwaiti government operated.
This is yet another example of modern-day propaganda at its finest.
Operation Northwood’s
In the early 1960s, American military leaders set forth plans to gain public support for war with Cuba to force Fidel Castro from power.
One objective was to shoot people on the streets dressed as Cubans and blow up bombs in various US cities acting as Castro’s doing.
Or, they thought of blowing up a ship filled with Cuban refugees, pretending it was a US military ship. Another incredible idea was to have a plane take off from Miami, Florida, filled with CIA agents posing as if they were college students.
A brief time later, it would land on a secret base, where an identical empty remote-controlled drone plane would then replace it and be blown up, blaming the Soviets stationed in Cuba.
Shockingly, these plans were approved by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Thankfully, President Kennedy vetoed Operation Northwood, and some would claim these actions led to his assassination.
As a result, Northwood’s would remain secret for over 40 years.
Operation Gladio
They first exposed Italy in 1990, called: Operation Gladio, with over 40 years of secret operatives.
Associates of this mission explained that similar projects occurred in most countries of Western Europe. Operation Gladio was made up of top-secret organizations.
In 14 European countries, they kept them secret from the host country’s governments – organized by others, such as; the CIA, which involved anti-communist endeavours, involving anti-democratic protests and fictitious terrorism.
In his NATO’s Secret Armies book, it was all precisely documented by historian Daniele Ganser.
One of if not the most thrilling books ever to be discarded by the corporate media.
The evidence is so appalling most citizens would most likely discount it.
CIA Operated Black Sites
Set up not long after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the CIA built sites throughout the world to torture people, which would be known as the “Black Sites.”
The first black site was set up in Thailand.
The first prisoner was a top al-Qaida member, Abu Zubaydah, arrested in a shoot-out in Pakistan.
Shortly after that, they used interrogation procedures on him that are considered torture under international law (such as long periods of standing, beatings and waterboarding).
Claims that the United States unlawfully held terror defendants at secret prisons in Thailand made the Thai government 2003 close the CIA-run prisons.
The year after, another black site in Guantanamo Bay was also closed.
